About

the artist

I consider myself to be one who knows no limitations when it comes to expressing myself creatively. My attention to detail is absurd thanks to my perfectionist spirit. For as long as I can remember, I have had an appreciation for art and all the forms that it comes in. Art always has a story to tell and it evokes every kind of emotion in doing so . . . but only if you are truly listening.

Photography

I have always had an eye for details and capturing hidden gems, hence my love for photography. I believe there is art in every scene, every room, and any outdoor setting. It is really just a matter of finding those gems.

I use a Canon EOS 70D, as well as my iPhone. I am honestly proud to say that a great majority of my pictures were taken from my phone because this really reiterates the fact that it isn’t just about the medium used, but how the content can be captured and manipulated through whatever lens.

Drawings

I started seriously drawing during the summer of Corona in 2020. Back in elementary school art classes, I always knew I could create great pieces if I forced myself to sit down and take the time. I finally did exactly that during that summer; creating black and white pieces on canvases while using solely lead pencils, my favorite medium.

I’d like to think my art imitates life, or the way I personally perceive it at least. The messages within each of them are deeply personal to me and the experiences I have had in my life. At the same time, because of my unique experiences, I truly believe my life imitates the art I create. Without it, my pieces would simply not hold the same weight.

Fashion Design

My obsession with dolls at the age of 5 quickly turned into an obsession with all things clothes: styling, designing, and reworking. I took a break from creating and designing for years, but came back to it during my junior year of college. I am not always consistent with it, but when I am inspired I must stop everything I am doing and create !!

Rather than working with untouched, raw material, I am most inspired through redesigning already-made clothing. Expressing myself through outward appearance is an artistic way for me to nonverbally communicate, and I am in love with the unspoken feelings clothes evoke and provide.
